Junior Society Class Eastbrook Hall. This picture appears in 'The Making of a Mission' by The Bradford Wesleyan Mission, pub March 1911, pg57, the caption reads: 'Girls in our Junior Society Classes'. The chapter titled, 'Our Class Meetings - Eastbrook Hall' says "Any stranger passing down Chapel Street at 10 minutes past 9 on Wednesday night, would wonder what great meeting is dispersing. It is our members - hundreds of them - leaving Eastbrook after class. Meeting one class recently, I had ninety members about me - an average attendance, I was told. In another class seventy members gathered for renewal of tickets." The flags and decorations on the walls could be for the King's eldest son's (later King George V) visit to Bradford to open the Bradford Exhibition at Cartwright Hall (4/5/1904) or the opening of Eastbrook Hall in May 1904.
