Electric Lantern

Electric lantern and cinematograph equipment. This photo appears in C. Pratt and Sons Ltd Catalogue, c.1910 (Bradford Archives 46D95 6/2) pg 54, with negative 128 "... we have been called upon to supply and arrange for electric lantern and cinematograph equipment under the Cinematograph Act. The illustrations show the exterior and interior of a fireproof lantern box of our construction and design. It is entered from the back and is compactly and conveniently arranged. The operator is guided by electric signals from the platform, and switch boards are fitted so that he has full control of all the lights in the building."
