View of the main entrance arch and sign of Kirgate Market, Bradford 1971. The old Kirkgate market was demolished in 1973. The demolition was controversial with members of the public petitioning and protesting in an attempt to save the building. The arch for the market survives and is held in the collections of Bradford Museums & Galleries. The location of the stonework is unknown.
