The photo was taken shortly after an arm wrestling competition also known as a ‘Bini’ which he had partaken in and was crowned champion, the picture of him receiving the reward was taken in 1962 at the St George’s Hall. Photographic portrait from Manningham’s Belle Vue Studio.
