Playing cards at The Indian Workers Association in Bradford. This organisation was originally set up in the 1930s to campaign in Britain for the independence of India, and as a mutual welfare society for those settling in here. It was particularly active during the 1950s and 60s, working on behalf of its members in the workplace. It now has an active role in providing services for the elderly. 1994.
