Research - sold pamphlets, newspapers and almanacs in Bradford since 1831. He changed his clothing for his evening shift. Painted twice by Sowden, once in his morning outfit and once in his evening outfit. Seen selling at Shipley Glen on Sundays and bank holidays. See also sowden-204
