Was the eldest son of Mr James Law, and was born in Bradford in 1849. He was educated at the Bradford High School and entered into business with his father in the firm of La,w Russell & Co, Stuff Merchants in 1867. Mr Duncan law is the chairman of the Bradford Girls Grammar School, a governor of the Boys Grammar School and is the President of the Bradford Mechanics’ Institute. He is also a Commissioner of Taxes and a past president of the Bradford Chamber of Commerce. Mr Law in 1873 married Emily Laycock of Keighley and has issue four sons and four daughters.
