Photographic image of the ruined Old Bell Chapel and tower, Thornton, Bradford. One of a set of 85 lantern slides showing various locations.
The ruins of the Chapel of St James, The Old Bell Chapel, are grade II listed. Ruins of Thornton’s late medieval church rebuilt in 1612 and then in 1818 when in the care of Rev Patrick Bronte, father of the Bronte sisters.
