Eastbrook House, identified on this engraving as Peckover Hall, was built by Edmund Peckover, who purchased the land from the Vicar of Bradford towards the end of the 18th Century. Peckover was close friends with John Hustler and both were hugely influential in the growth and development of Bradford. The estate consisted of an orchard garden and 20 acre meadow. One of a series of glass lantern slides showing old halls and other Bradford buildings
The Hall was built in the area of central Bradford now known as Little Germany.
