The Karachi Restaurant, its owners claim, is known all over Great Britain, was established in 1962, catering for single Asian men who came to Bradford to work in textiles, has grown popular among the wider community, serving Pakistani-style food, with main dishes costing £1.30, £2.00 and £2.50 average cost per head for a full meal (in 1986).
