Baisakhi commemorates the birth of the Khalsa. This march was organised by the Bradford branch of the International Sikh Youth Federation. It commenced at the Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara and progressed to the Bolton Road Gurdwara and the Guru Nanak Gurdwara on Wakefield Road. A new cloth will be given at every Gurdwara to cover the Granth.
Salford Van Hire lorry decorated for the march.
The five beloved ones (Panj Piare), or the Khalsa, precede the Guru Granth Sahib in the procession.
