This is a black and white photographic print showing three men sorting and grading wool. The man in the middle is grader Tommy Adams. In the foreground, the wool is piled in baskets in front of the men with more bags of wool and another worker in the background behind the men. There is a large and prominent sack hanging down on a metal chain above the workers. The photograph was taken by photographer Ian Beesley, and was used in Beesley's book 'Ian Beesley Life A Retrospective, p.74' with caption "Wool Grading, British Wool Marketing Board, Clayton, Bradford, 1986".
