This is a black and white photographic print of a weaving shed with man in the foreground. He is surrounded by machines which stretch far into the background of the image. He appears to be wearing a dark-coloured jumpsuit. Written on the back of the print is: "Copy 2. The Tatler. Queen St Mill, Burnley, I Beesley, 1992. John Shepherd who was trained as a tatler (the engineer who sets up looms to run the the right pattern etc) in his youth. When he retired he was asked to help renovate and pass on his skills at the Queen St. Mills Burnley, the last steam driven mill in Burnley. Which has recently opened 1995 as a Working Museum."
