This is a glossy portrait black and white image of two men in front of a lorry loaded with wool sacks. John Spencer on the left, Dave Gerrard on the right.
The lorry bears the name D.K. GERRARD and has a Wool Marketing Roundel on it, alongside stickers for '301 Radio Trent', 'Radio Nottingham' and 'Wear British Wool' ("34 million sheep can't be wrong!"). The location appears similar to a print in Ian Beesleys 'Life: A Retrospective' on p79 of men unloading what could be the same lorry at the same place - The British Wool Marketing Board in Clayton, 1986. This print was taken by photographer Ian Beesley.
