This is a sepia glossy landscape image of a man sorting dark wool. A caption on the back reads: 'Wool sorters 3 ply mills Little Germany'. The worker seems to be doing his work by hand, assisted only by the light let in by the windows. The top of a large wicker basket can be seen by his worktop and another one can be seen further in the background, possibly to contain the sorted wool. A bottle of what could be labeled as 'Domest[os]' can be seen on the windowsill. Large white bags, possible containing wool, can be seen the background too with netting in front of it.
