Transcription
This is a glossy black and white landscape image of a man at a handloom. On the back of the print is the caption: 'Interior, Weavers Cottage, Colne Valley Museum, Golcar. Handloom Weaver @ Work'. The handloom and the strings of wool occupy the foreground with the worker being framed by it. Lots of small spools of wool are stuck to one of the pillars of the loom and lots of pointed objects of some kind hang from above slightly out of frame. Some tools and other objects can be seen in the background on a windowsill. This print was taken by photographer Ian Beesley.
