Transcription
This is a glossy black and white landscape image of two women working with mungo and shoddy. Written on the back is the caption: 'Mungo & Shoddy'. The two workers are working at the same table. A small wicker basket rests beneath the table, presumably for one of the workers to pull material out of to work with. It is unclear whether there is another source of light out of frame, or if they are relying on the light coming in through the window. There are two posters of men on the back wall, one depicting a 'Nick Kamen' and the other an 'Eddie' of some kind (Hind or Kind or Kidd). This print was taken by photographer Ian Beesley.
