This is a black and white landscape image of a man at a loom. On the back of another print of the same image (H.2024.4.352) is the caption: 'Weavercroft Dudley Hill'. The man is obscured behind all the strings of wool feeding into the loom. The way the picture was taken and developed gives the strings of wool an almost wispy quality. Some stairs in the background lead to another area or floor out of the frame. This photograph was taken by photographer Ian Beesley.
