This is a glossy black and white landscape photographic print of a worker at Hay Royds Colliery. He is wearing a hard hat and high visibility shit. With one hand he holds a plastic bottle and with the other he holds a piece of scrap metal. More metal scrap surrounds him with a pile building up in the background. This print was taken by photographer Ian Beesley and can be found in his book 'The Drift' on page 54. The print is labelled '13', which could be planning either for a book or an exhibition display, or a technical detail specific to developing.
