This is a contact sheet of black and white photographic prints, printed on Ilford HP5 PLUS flim. It depicts miners underground, some walking through the mines with hands behind their backs to manage the strain, some wheeling around a cart of sorts and others kneeling down. The sheet contains 6 continuous reels of prints, containing roughly 30 prints taken by photographer Ian Beesley.
