Part of the Lawrence Townend collection. Lawrence Townend was private 1232, 18th West Yorkshire regiment, he was taken prisoner of war on July 27th 1916. Sent to the Schneidemuhl prisoner of war camp in Germany. Returned home December 2nd 1918.
