This is a glossy black and white landscape photographic print of machinery viewed from a walkway at Hay Royds Colliery. A towering corkscrew shaped machine and several walkways can be seen. A miner stands behind a railing watching over it. The landscape in the background rises upwards before reaching a densely packed woodland.
