A label on the back of the folder reads "DePuy, Thackray. Beeston. Leeds. 12th August 2011."

This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company who moved production to China.

This image shows a worker using a tool on a round object. They have a lamp consisting of a ring light and magnifying glass which they are using to see the object in their hands better.
