This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley.

This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image shows two men wearing a DePuy uniforms. One has glasses and a pair of headphones on the side of his head, which look like they have an antenna on them - possibly for a radio. The other is wearing safety goggles and holding a bagged document and a pen. They seem to be in conversation in front of a machine in the background which is labelled "DOOSAN S 310".
