This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image depicts two men with their backs facing the camera while pinning up a sheet to a wall, possibly a timetable or rota. A label on the wall close to where they are reads 'COSHH DATA SHEETS - please do not remove', though I am not sure whether this refers to what the two men are pining up or the sheets below the notice.
