This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.
This image depicts a man wearing glasses and a DePuy uniform looking at something out of frame. There is a machine in the background labeled 'Crysta', a sheet of paper titled verification check and a DePuy titled sheet stuck on the wall in the background. There is also a mouse on a desk in the background, though the computer it is connected to is out of frame. The image is slightly blurry overall.
