This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.
This image depicts the inside of a room and a hallway leading out of it. There is a noticeboard with lots of sheets pinned to it, though the image is too blurry to make out many of the details. The most prominent features an event happening on a Thursday in December 2011. The pictures focus is on the radiator in the hallway.
