This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This room depicts three people in a COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Clean room. Two of them are wearing black DePuy uniforms while either donning or taking off hair nets while the third is in full protective gear. There is a sheet pinned up to the window that lists 10 items in a checklist that is difficult to read. Two dates at the bottom mention November 2011 and 2012 possibly a date of inspection and next inspection. The picture is taken through a window from another room, since you can faintly see the reflection of Beesley and the room behind him.
