This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image shows four men wearing DePuy uniforms, plus another who only has a leg in frame. Three of them are sat by the wall of the room, one of whom is sat at a circular table with a drink in front of him. The fourth individual is sat at a table with a piece of paper and a cup, and is apart from the others toward the center of the room. His hands are clasped together, possibly mid gesture in the midst of talking to the others. There are unoccupied tables, a monitor on the wall and the rooms fire exit in the background.
