This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley.
This was taken as part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.
This image shows Ian Beesley photographing himself in a mirror.
He is wearing a lab coat, and safety goggles pushed to the top of his head. Urinals can be seen to the right of the reflection, with a bin and hand towels to the left. A hand sanitiser dispenser is mounted on the wall adjacent to the mirror.
