This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image depicts two men in a room, possibly captured mid conversation. One of them is wearing a DePuy uniform and a pair of glasses, the other a white shirt and a lanyard. The clock on the wall between them reads 11:20. The camera pans up toward the ceiling, showing the tiles, lights and something that resembles a sprinkler.
