This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image depicts two men in a room, caught mid conversation and gesturing towards something out of frame. One has a black DePuy uniform, glasses and is holding something in his hand (a rolled up wad or paper or a cup), while the other is wearing a lighter/white shirt. The camera pans up towards the ceiling, showing the lights and two objects that resemble sprinklers.
