This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image shows four men (and a fifth mostly cut of the frame) sat in chairs in a row at the back wall of the room. Two of them are sat in front of a table, with a tall bottle, a short cup, a plastic tray (that really resembles the ones they give at takeaways) and a sheet of paper resting on its surface. The clock on the back wall reads 11:09.
