This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image shows five men (with a sixth cut off by the frame holding a sheet of paper) sat in a row of chairs at the back of a room, possibly in the middle of a meeting. All of them are wearing DePuy uniforms. One of them is sat apart from the others at a table with a cup. Another table has a box (possibly a lunch box?) and two cups. The clock on the wall reads 11:04. One can see the rooms fire exit in the background.
