This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image depicts five external and one internal job adverts stuck to a wall, listing the purposes of the jobs and the skills required. Though the text is difficult to read, I believe the jobs going at that time are as follows: HCC Associate at DePuy, QSHE Manager, Operations Director (Designate), Production Manager, Commercial Manager at Magma Ceramics and Catalysts and Commissioning Craft at Unilever. The five external roles have 'Please contact HR if interested' written at the bottom in marker pen.
