This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image depicts a man wearing a DePuy uniform while stood next to a box on a stack of shelves. There are two shelving units and roughly eight boxes, the latter of which all have documents hanging out of them. The entire image is slightly blurry making it difficult to pick out any details such as a document stuck to the top of a unit or what the man is doing with his hands.
