This is a photographic negative produced by photographer Ian Beesley. This was part of a project called 'Thackray Remembered' (Thackray 2011) which was commissioned by the Thackray Medical Museum to document the closure of a Thackray factory which manufactured hip and knee replacements. It was taken over by the American company DePuy who moved production to China.

This image depicts a miscellaneous group of objects on a table. Among those that can be identified is a measuring caliper, 20 finished components with an upwards point and several documents that are illegible from this distance. There are also two larger pieces of metal and a large circular object. A fire extinguisher can also be seen attached to the wall on the left side of the frame.
