Concert Hall entrance, Lister Park - 1904 Bradford Great Exhibition. The image shows the entrance to the grand Concert Hall in Lister Park with displays of framed pictures and a decorative (lamp?) post. The hall was a large temporary structure for musical and theatrical performances and dinners and dances to be held during the great exhibition.
Original glass plate negative from 1904 Bradford Exhibition. The photograph was taken by Womersley, one of the photographers commissioned to record the 1904 Great Exhibition and opening of Cartwright Memorial Hall Art Gallery & Museum.
