With the growth of the communities larger premises for worship were needed, and many buildings were converted such as this Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in Keighley, West Yorkshire. It was converted to the Shah Jalal Jame Mosque by the Bangladesh Islamic Association in the 1970s. Featured on page 50 of the book Asians in Britain.
