Development work being undertaken along Peckover Street, in Little Germany, featuring Dietrich's Wine Bar, which is being refurbished to give idea of Victorian setting, with laying of new paving stones and construction of large patio area, with chairs and tables.
Little Germany, the area from which merchants sold cloth to all over the world, used to be the warehousing centre of Bradford, and indeed for textiles, the whole country, most of such premises having been built between the years 1859-1874.
