Transcription
An Eastbrook Brotherhood Open-Air Lantern Service. This is the original negative of the magic lantern show which has been printed, painted on and was re-photographed, see negative 51. In Eastbrook Centenary Souvenir, pg101, "During the winter of 1905-06 a new feature was introduced, The People's Popular Concerts; a cinematograph apparatus being installed for the purpose. Through the medium of these concerts many people were introduced to Eastbrook and began to attend the Services on Sunday."
