This is a print reel of 4 black and white prints depicting the Protector Lamp Company, which manufactured miners safety lamps. Each print shows the company building with a group of people (presumably the staff) standing outside it to pose for a picture. Each individual picture is slightly different though - the lighting is slightly different and the people make different poses and expressions. This was taken by photographer Ian Beesley, and one of these images features in his book 'Life: A Retrospective'. The book dates the print to 2008 and labels it as being in Eccles, Salford.
